Laughing Waters

On any regular day, some couples would say that they met at a bar, through friends or at college, however John and I can not say the same. The story began when a mutual friend of ours posted a picture of me. This then led to John doing a deep dive into who this person was. The best part is that the photo was a picture of me taking a picture with only my back showing. So he eventually found my Instagram page and ended up following me, liking every photo and also sending me direct messages and of course I did not entertain him. After months of trying to talk to me, stalking my profile and me only sending him one word answers I finally went onto his Instagram page where I found his acrylic paintings. I had just moved into my apartment and was looking for some decor and those paintings were perfect, so I took it upon myself to finally respond with a question asking if he sells any of the paintings and then it all began there and we eventually exchanged numbers after 8 months of ignoring him. He then begged for me to go on a date with him to Brio which I tried to get out of because of the "Florida weather," but had no luck. We ended up meeting very late that night and sat for hours talking about where we were from and who we knew. After having a great night I still insisted we stay friends but then here we are 3 years later, happy and getting married!!!
